There are many types of anti-bark collars available. I do not feel that the electronic type that delivers a controllable shock should be used on puppies. There is too much risk of intimidation and frightening that could turn your new puppy against any collar. Best to get the pup used to a normal collar first. There are milder reprimand collars that use vibrations,, sound or even herbal oil sprays that could be used on young puppies but again I think your pup should be used to a normal collar first.
There is a device sold through home improvement catalogs that looks like a little bird house and and emits an uncomfortable tone when your pup barks, they are okay. Sometimes we should remember that prompt effective verbal commands can be very useful.
