I'm at a bit of a loss with my puppy and her crate. She has a puppypoopalace because I was told that's what she was used to (from Premier Pups) but she shows absolutely zero interest in it. She's 9 weeks old (cavapoo) and I got her on Sunday. She's been sleeping in my bed every night because the crying in the crate is unbearable. I tried to put her in the crate today for 30 minute increments of time but she shrieks. She had her favorite toys, a snuggle puppy with the heartbeat and a heat pack. I even gave her a kong stuffed with hot dog. What am I missing? I even tried to feed her in the crate but she has no interest in anything other than crying. Is she too young?Category: Training Tips
As long as you create other options she will likely choose those. You must walk away and not go back unless she has been quiet at least 30 minutes.
