My 4 month old Malshi is having significant separation anxiety. We have left him alone a handful of times and never more than 2 hours. He gets extremely stressed, poops, stomps all through the poop and tears up the pee pad on top of barking and whining the entire time. When we are home we put him in his crate with the door closed for naps and he does fine because he can sense that we are home.
