I just got my puppy to weeks go and on the third to forth day he began with a coughing/ gagging sound. We called premiere pups and they advised us to give him cough syrup and robitussin for kids in which we did for a total of 7 days.. Today he started coughing again but he did throw up twice, the first time it looked like mucus and the second time was more water based. My main concern is the continuation of coughing/gagging which is causing him to throw up now..Category: Common Conditions
If you have done the home care treatments for that long and there has been no improvement then you should contact your veterinarian. Although this is not likely a serious problem he may need additional medication.
