| She drinks a lot of water is that normal for the day I just got her, and also I attached her water bowl and food tray to her kennel on the inside were she sleeps and noticed she drunk more water overnight... the VET said today she is 100% healthy is this normal she is a 10 week old Shar-Pei... thanks.. |
If her attitude and appetite are good and her urine output does not seem excessive then your vet is probably right. If we want to be sure the first question we need to answer is "how much water does she drink?" If she is the only pet in the house start a day by measuring the amount of water you put out or add and keep track until the next morning. A shorter version is to measure the amount of water she consumes overnight. Let me know what you get and also what type of food she gets and her weight then I can advise .
