There are literally hundreds of puppy treats available and most are okay. They can be high in sodium, like a lot of people snacks, and the biggest problems can come from offering to many in a day more so than the treat itself being a problem. Small treats or breaking up larger pieces is a good idea for little puppies. Freeze dried liver cubes sold under several trade names are a good choice. American made chicken jerky products are also lower in sodium. If there are any vegetables such as carrots or green beans that your puppy likes these are a great choice. I often use small chunks of cheese.
